### sec.65 Fee for jury in civil cases
If a party to a civil trial requires a jury, the party must pay to the registrar of the court before which the trial is to be conducted—
the fee prescribed under a regulation before the trial begins; and
the further fees required under a regulation as and when payment is required under the regulation.
If the court before which a civil trial is to be conducted requires a jury, the plaintiff must pay to the registrar of the court—
the fee prescribed under a regulation before the trial begins; and
the further fees required under a regulation as and when payment is required under the regulation.
If the trial does not proceed and no person attends the court for jury service, the party who paid the fee is entitled to the return of the fee less any amount necessarily spent by the sheriff in arranging for the attendance, or cancelling the attendance, of prospective jurors at the proposed trial.
