### sec.51A Duty of judge and jury
In a civil trial—
it is the jury’s duty to answer any question of fact that is left to the jury by the presiding judge; and
it is the presiding judge’s duty to instruct the jury about the law applicable to the proceeding, with the observations on the evidence the judge considers appropriate to make.
