### sec.36 Exception for information covered by Attorney-General’s certificate
This section applies to information relating to a matter if the Attorney-General certifies, by signed writing, that the disclosure of information relating to the matter would be contrary to the public interest—
because it would involve the disclosure of deliberations or a decision of Cabinet or a Committee of Cabinet; or
for any other specified reason that could form the basis for a claim in a judicial proceeding that the information should not be disclosed.
Section 37 specifies the consequences of this section applying to information.
