### sec.28 Return of suspended or cancelled licence
If the chief executive cancels or suspends a person’s licence, the chief executive may give the person a notice requiring the person to return the licence to the chief executive in the way stated in the notice within a stated period of not less than 14 days.
The person must comply with the notice, unless the person has a reasonable excuse.
Maximum penalty—20 penalty units.
If a licence returned to the chief executive after suspension is still current at the end of the suspension period, the chief executive must return the licence to the licensee.
(sec.28-ssec.1) If the chief executive cancels or suspends a person’s licence, the chief executive may give the person a notice requiring the person to return the licence to the chief executive in the way stated in the notice within a stated period of not less than 14 days.
