### sec.57 Directives
The integrity commissioner may make a directive about any of the following matters—
the operation of a provision of this chapter or the registered lobbyists code of conduct, including, for example, a procedural or technical requirement relating to the provision or code;
the application of the policy relating to conflicts of interest for registered lobbyists mentioned in section 55 (4) ;
any other matter the integrity commissioner considers appropriate.
Registered lobbyists must comply with a directive made under subsection (1) .
The integrity commissioner must publish each directive made under subsection (1) on the integrity commissioner’s website.
To remove any doubt, it is declared that, if a directive is inconsistent with an Act or subordinate legislation, the Act or subordinate legislation prevails over the directive to the extent of any inconsistency.
