### sec.40F Conflicts of interest
If a statutory office holder has an interest that conflicts or may conflict with the discharge of the holder’s responsibilities, the holder—
must disclose the nature of the interest and conflict to the relevant Minister as soon as practicable after the relevant facts come to the holder’s knowledge; and
must not take action or further action concerning a matter that is, or may be, affected by the conflict unless authorised by the relevant Minister.

The relevant Minister may direct a statutory office holder to resolve a conflict or possible conflict between an interest of the holder and the holder’s responsibilities.

(sec.40F-ssec.2) The relevant Minister may direct a statutory office holder to resolve a conflict or possible conflict between an interest of the holder and the holder’s responsibilities.
- (a) must disclose the nature of the interest and conflict to the relevant Minister as soon as practicable after the relevant facts come to the holder’s knowledge; and
- (b) must not take action or further action concerning a matter that is, or may be, affected by the conflict unless authorised by the relevant Minister.
