### sec.24 Secrecy
A person must not record, use or disclose information in relation to an ethics or integrity issue about another person that came to the person’s knowledge because of the person’s involvement in the administration of this chapter.
Maximum penalty—85 penalty units or 1 year’s imprisonment.
Subsection (1) does not apply to a person’s recording, use or disclosure of information if the recording, use or disclosure is—
in the performance of his or her functions under this chapter; or
authorised under this or another Act.
A person who is or has been involved in the administration of this chapter is not, in any proceeding, compellable to disclose information in relation to an ethics or integrity issue about another person that came to the person’s knowledge because of the person’s involvement in the administration of this chapter.
