### sec.685 Unauthorised access to ballot paper A person must not, without lawful authority or excuse— ask, require or induce another person to show to the person, or permit the person to see, a ballot paper so the person can see the vote recorded in the ballot paper— while the paper is being marked; or after it has been marked; or if the person is performing functions for an election—show to anyone else, or permit anyone else access to, a ballot paper used in the election or ballot, other than to perform the functions.
