### sec.518 Termination of appointment of registrar The Governor in Council must end the registrar’s appointment if the registrar— is guilty of misconduct of a kind that would constitute grounds for termination under the Public Sector Act 2022 if the registrar were a public service officer; or is absent, without the Minister’s leave or without reasonable excuse, for 14 consecutive days or a total of 28 days in any year; or becomes incapable of performing the functions of office.
