### sec.129 Employer to give particular information to employees when they start working for employer
An employer must give each employee the following documents before, or as soon as practicable after, the employee starts working for the employer—
the information statement published under section 128 ;
if an industrial instrument applies to the employee—another document stating the industrial instrument that applies to the employee.
However, subsection (1) does not apply to an employer if—
the employee starts working for the employer for a second time; and
the employer has given the information statement and the document to the employee in the previous 12 months.

(sec.129-ssec.2) However, subsection (1) does not apply to an employer if— the employee starts working for the employer for a second time; and the employer has given the information statement and the document to the employee in the previous 12 months.
- (a) the information statement published under section 128 ;
- (b) if an industrial instrument applies to the employee—another document stating the industrial instrument that applies to the employee.
