### sec.1024 Proceedings not yet started
This section applies if—
immediately before the commencement, a person could, under the repealed Act, have started a proceeding within a particular period; and
on the commencement, the person has not started the proceeding.
The Industrial Relations Act 2016 does not apply to the proceeding.
The person may, within the period mentioned in paragraph (1)(a), start the proceeding under the repealed Act, and the proceeding must be heard and decided, as if the Industrial Relations Act 2016 had not commenced.
(sec.1024-ssec.1) This section applies if— immediately before the commencement, a person could, under the repealed Act, have started a proceeding within a particular period; and on the commencement, the person has not started the proceeding.
(sec.1024-ssec.2) The Industrial Relations Act 2016 does not apply to the proceeding.
(sec.1024-ssec.3) The person may, within the period mentioned in paragraph (1)(a), start the proceeding under the repealed Act, and the proceeding must be heard and decided, as if the Industrial Relations Act 2016 had not commenced.
- (a) immediately before the commencement, a person could, under the repealed Act, have started a proceeding within a particular period; and
- (b) on the commencement, the person has not started the proceeding.
