### sec.1023 Existing proceedings This section applies if— before the commencement, a person started a proceeding under the repealed Act; and immediately before the commencement, the proceeding had not ended. The repealed Act continues to apply to the proceeding, and the proceeding must be heard and decided, as if the Industrial Relations Act 2016 had not commenced.
