### sec.51 Intervention by commission
The commission may intervene in and be joined as a party to a proceeding before a court or tribunal in which—
a question of law arises that relates to the application of this Act; or
a question arises in relation to the interpretation of a statutory provision in accordance with this Act.
If the commission intervenes, the commission becomes a party to the proceeding for the purpose of any appeal from an order made in the proceeding.
(sec.51-ssec.1) The commission may intervene in and be joined as a party to a proceeding before a court or tribunal in which— a question of law arises that relates to the application of this Act; or a question arises in relation to the interpretation of a statutory provision in accordance with this Act.
(sec.51-ssec.2) If the commission intervenes, the commission becomes a party to the proceeding for the purpose of any appeal from an order made in the proceeding.
