### sec.44C Functions of advisers
The functions of an adviser are—
to attend board meetings; and
to provide information and advice to the board to assist it in performing its functions under this Act; and
to advise the Minister and the chief executive on any matter relating to the performance of the board or the Service controlled by the board.
