### sec.191 Appointment conditions and limit on powers
A health service investigator holds office on any conditions stated in—
the investigator’s instrument of appointment; or
a signed notice given to the investigator; or
a regulation.
The instrument of appointment, a signed notice given to the investigator or a regulation may limit the investigator’s powers.
In this section—
signed notice means a notice signed by the appointer.
(sec.191-ssec.1) A health service investigator holds office on any conditions stated in— the investigator’s instrument of appointment; or a signed notice given to the investigator; or a regulation.
(sec.191-ssec.2) The instrument of appointment, a signed notice given to the investigator or a regulation may limit the investigator’s powers.
(sec.191-ssec.3) In this section— signed notice means a notice signed by the appointer.
- (a) the investigator’s instrument of appointment; or
- (b) a signed notice given to the investigator; or
- (c) a regulation.
