### sec.190 Appointment of health service investigators
The chief executive (the appointer ) may, by instrument in writing, appoint a person as a health service investigator to undertake an investigation under this part in the department or a Service.
A health service chief executive (also the appointer ) may, by instrument in writing, appoint a person as a health service investigator to undertake an investigation under this part in the Service.
However, a person may be appointed as a health service investigator only if the appointer is satisfied the person is qualified for appointment because the person has the necessary expertise or experience.

(sec.190-ssec.1) The chief executive (the appointer ) may, by instrument in writing, appoint a person as a health service investigator to undertake an investigation under this part in the department or a Service.
(sec.190-ssec.2) A health service chief executive (also the appointer ) may, by instrument in writing, appoint a person as a health service investigator to undertake an investigation under this part in the Service.
