### sec.167 When office ends
The office of a person as authorised person or security officer ends if any of the following happens—
the term of office stated in a condition of office ends;
under another condition of office, the office ends;
the authorised person’s or security officer’s resignation under section 168 takes effect.
Subsection (1) does not limit the ways the office of a person as an authorised person or security officer ends.
In this section—
condition of office means a condition under which the authorised person or security officer holds office.
(sec.167-ssec.1) The office of a person as authorised person or security officer ends if any of the following happens— the term of office stated in a condition of office ends; under another condition of office, the office ends; the authorised person’s or security officer’s resignation under section 168 takes effect.
(sec.167-ssec.2) Subsection (1) does not limit the ways the office of a person as an authorised person or security officer ends.
(sec.167-ssec.3) In this section— condition of office means a condition under which the authorised person or security officer holds office.
- (a) the term of office stated in a condition of office ends;
- (b) under another condition of office, the office ends;
- (c) the authorised person’s or security officer’s resignation under section 168 takes effect.
