### sec.742 Contracting out prohibited
A contract is void to the extent to which it—
is contrary to this Law; or
purports to annul, exclude, restrict or otherwise change the effect of a provision of this Law; or
purports to require the payment or reimbursement by a person of all or part of a penalty that another person has been ordered to pay under this Law.
This section does not prevent the parties to a contract from including provisions in the contract imposing greater or more onerous obligations on an entity than are imposed by the requirements of this Law.
This section applies to contracts entered into before or after the commencement of this section.
