### sec.674 Chief executive officer may attend meetings
The chief executive officer of the Regulator may attend meetings of the Board and participate in discussions of the Board.
However, the chief executive officer—
must, as soon as possible after becoming aware that the chief executive officer has a direct personal interest in a matter to be considered by the Board, disclose the interest to the Chairperson of the Board; and
is not entitled to be present during the consideration by the Board of any matter in which the chief executive officer has a direct personal interest; and
is not entitled to vote at a meeting.

(sec.674-ssec.1) The chief executive officer of the Regulator may attend meetings of the Board and participate in discussions of the Board.
(sec.674-ssec.2) However, the chief executive officer— must, as soon as possible after becoming aware that the chief executive officer has a direct personal interest in a matter to be considered by the Board, disclose the interest to the Chairperson of the Board; and is not entitled to be present during the consideration by the Board of any matter in which the chief executive officer has a direct personal interest; and is not entitled to vote at a meeting.
