### sec.630 Sudden or extraordinary emergency
In a proceeding for an offence against this Law, it is a defence for the person charged to prove that the conduct constituting the offence occurred in response to circumstances of sudden or extraordinary emergency.
This section applies if and only if the person carrying out the conduct reasonably believed that—
circumstances of sudden or extraordinary emergency existed; and
the conduct was the only reasonable way to deal with the emergency; and
the conduct was a reasonable response to the emergency.

(sec.630-ssec.1) In a proceeding for an offence against this Law, it is a defence for the person charged to prove that the conduct constituting the offence occurred in response to circumstances of sudden or extraordinary emergency.
(sec.630-ssec.2) This section applies if and only if the person carrying out the conduct reasonably believed that— circumstances of sudden or extraordinary emergency existed; and the conduct was the only reasonable way to deal with the emergency; and the conduct was a reasonable response to the emergency.
- (a) circumstances of sudden or extraordinary emergency existed; and
- (b) the conduct was the only reasonable way to deal with the emergency; and
- (c) the conduct was a reasonable response to the emergency.
