### sec.40 Consult with adult’s other appointees or attorneys
If there are 2 or more persons who are guardian, administrator or attorney for an adult, the persons must consult with one another on a regular basis to ensure the adult’s interests are not prejudiced by a breakdown in communication between them.
However, failure to comply with subsection (1) does not affect the validity of an exercise of power by a guardian, administrator or attorney.
In this section—
attorney means an attorney under an enduring document or a statutory health attorney.
(sec.40-ssec.1) If there are 2 or more persons who are guardian, administrator or attorney for an adult, the persons must consult with one another on a regular basis to ensure the adult’s interests are not prejudiced by a breakdown in communication between them.
(sec.40-ssec.2) However, failure to comply with subsection (1) does not affect the validity of an exercise of power by a guardian, administrator or attorney.
