an associate subsidiary.
Also, a regulation may change the name of—
a candidate GOC, or a subsidiary or proposed subsidiary of a candidate GOC, if the entity or proposed entity is not registered as a corporation under the Corporations Act ; or
a candidate GOC associate; or
an associate subsidiary.
A regulation under subsection (3) —
does not affect the legal personality of the entity whose name is changed; and
is effective even if the name being changed was given to the entity under another Act.
Unless a contrary intention appears, a reference in an Act or document to the entity by its former name is taken to be a reference to the entity by its new name.
