### sch.2-sec.3 Appointment of acting chief executive officer
The interim board may appoint a person to act as chief executive officer—
during a vacancy in the office; or
during any period, or all periods, when the chief executive officer is absent from duty or is, for another reason, unable to perform the functions of the office.
