### sec.331 Obstruction of geothermal tenure holder
A person must not, without reasonable excuse, obstruct a geothermal tenure holder from—
entering or crossing land to carry out an authorised activity for the geothermal tenure if the Common Provisions Act , chapter 3 to the extent the chapter is relevant, has been complied with for the entry; or
carrying out an authorised activity for the geothermal tenure on the land.
Maximum penalty—500 penalty units.
If a corporation commits an offence against this provision, an executive officer of the corporation may be taken, under section 333A , to have also committed the offence.
If a person has obstructed a geothermal tenure holder from carrying out an activity mentioned in subsection (1) and the holder decides to proceed with the carrying out of the activity, the holder must warn the person that—
it is an offence to obstruct the holder unless the person has a reasonable excuse; and
the holder considers the person’s conduct is an obstruction.
In this section—
obstruct includes assault, hinder, resist and attempt or threaten to assault, hinder or resist.
