### sec.328 Defence if geothermal activity is for GHG storage injection This section applies to a geothermal activity consisting of the injection into an underground reservoir of a GHG stream. It is a defence to a proceeding for an offence against section 327 for the defendant to prove the injection— was for the purpose of GHG storage injection testing or GHG stream storage as defined under the GHG storage Act ; and was authorised under that Act. (sec.328-ssec.1) This section applies to a geothermal activity consisting of the injection into an underground reservoir of a GHG stream. (sec.328-ssec.2) It is a defence to a proceeding for an offence against section 327 for the defendant to prove the injection— was for the purpose of GHG storage injection testing or GHG stream storage as defined under the GHG storage Act ; and was authorised under that Act. - (a) was for the purpose of GHG storage injection testing or GHG stream storage as defined under the GHG storage Act ; and - (b) was authorised under that Act.
