### sec.302 Requirements for making surrender application
A surrender application must be—
made to the Minister in the approved form; and
accompanied by the fee prescribed under a regulation.
A surrender application must also be accompanied by a report by the applicant about—
the authorised activities for the geothermal tenure carried out on the area the subject of the application; and
the results of the activities; and
any other information prescribed under a regulation.
Maximum penalty for subsection (2) —150 penalty units.
(sec.302-ssec.1) A surrender application must be— made to the Minister in the approved form; and accompanied by the fee prescribed under a regulation.
