### sec.55FA When notice of decision must be given to particular entities
This section applies in relation to a decision made by the commissioner on an application of significant community impact if—
a member of the public made comments under section 55D about the application and the comments were not disregarded by the commissioner under that section; or
an entity made representations under section 55F about the application.
The commissioner must give the member of the public or entity written notice of the decision.
However, if the comments about the application were made under section 55D collectively by a group of members of the public—
the commissioner may give the notice mentioned in subsection (2) to a person stated in the comments to be the sponsor for the comments instead of each member of the group; and
a notice given to the sponsor for the comments under paragraph (a) is taken to have been given to each member of the group.
The commissioner must give a notice under subsection (2) at the same time as notice of the decision is given to the applicant for the application of significant community impact.
