### sec.335 Minister may order inquiry
The Minister may, if the Minister thinks fit, nominate and appoint in writing the commissioner, the chief executive or any other person to hold an inquiry into any or all aspects of—
gaming; or
the conduct of gaming; or
the manufacture, assembly, sale, supply, installation, alteration, obtaining, possession, operation, use, adjustment, maintenance, repair or testing of gaming equipment; or
the administration of licensed premises.
In the holding of the inquiry the commissioner, chief executive or other person has and may exercise all the powers, rights, privileges, protection and jurisdiction of a commission of inquiry under the Commissions of Inquiry Act 1950 except such as are provided by sections 4 , 4A , 5A , 5B , 10 (3) , 13 , 14 (1A) , 19A , 19B , 19C and 27 to 32 of that Act.
Nothing contained in this section affects any other powers that the commissioner or the chief executive has as an inspector under this Act or, where the other person is an inspector, that the other person has as an inspector under this Act.

(sec.335-ssec.1) The Minister may, if the Minister thinks fit, nominate and appoint in writing the commissioner, the chief executive or any other person to hold an inquiry into any or all aspects of— gaming; or the conduct of gaming; or the manufacture, assembly, sale, supply, installation, alteration, obtaining, possession, operation, use, adjustment, maintenance, repair or testing of gaming equipment; or the administration of licensed premises.
(sec.335-ssec.2) In the holding of the inquiry the commissioner, chief executive or other person has and may exercise all the powers, rights, privileges, protection and jurisdiction of a commission of inquiry under the Commissions of Inquiry Act 1950 except such as are provided by sections 4 , 4A , 5A , 5B , 10 (3) , 13 , 14 (1A) , 19A , 19B , 19C and 27 to 32 of that Act.
(sec.335-ssec.3) Nothing contained in this section affects any other powers that the commissioner or the chief executive has as an inspector under this Act or, where the other person is an inspector, that the other person has as an inspector under this Act.
- (a) gaming; or
- (b) the conduct of gaming; or
- (c) the manufacture, assembly, sale, supply, installation, alteration, obtaining, possession, operation, use, adjustment, maintenance, repair or testing of gaming equipment; or
- (d) the administration of licensed premises.
