Without limiting subsection (1) , the commissioner may destroy or otherwise dispose of the thing.
Despite subsection (1) , the commissioner must not deal with the thing in a way that could prejudice the outcome of an appeal under this Act of which the commissioner is aware.
The forfeiture of a thing, or the dealing with a thing under this section, does not confer a right to compensation on any person.
