### sec.254 Minors can not be allowed to game
A person must not allow a minor to play a gaming machine on licensed premises.
Maximum penalty—
for a person who is the licensee of, or the licensee’s nominee for, the licensed premises—250 penalty units; or
for another person—40 penalty units.
A person does not commit an offence against subsection (1) if the minor—
is an employee of the licensee of the licensed premises; and
plays the gaming machine only to the extent that is necessary for carrying out the minor’s duties as the licensee’s employee.
If a gaming machine has malfunctioned and has been adjusted to correct the malfunction, a minor may play the gaming machine to test it is operating properly.
