### sec.53A Interfering with forest products on forest consent area
A person must not interfere with, or cause to be interfered with, any forest products on any forest consent area other than—
under the authority of an Act or law; or
under the authority of a permit, lease, licence or agreement granted or made under this Act.
Maximum penalty—
for a first offence—1,000 penalty units; or
for a subsequent offence—3,000 penalty units.
Subsection (1) does not apply if—
the person is acting under the Biosecurity Act 2014 ; and
that action interferes with, or causes to be interfered with, the forest products; and
the forest products are restricted matter.

- (a) under the authority of an Act or law; or
- (b) under the authority of a permit, lease, licence or agreement granted or made under this Act.
