### sec.49 Authorities that may be issued The chief executive may issue the following authorities under this Act— a licence; a permit; a quota authority; a resource allocation authority; another authority prescribed by regulation. A regulation may provide that an authority of a particular kind may or may not be issued for a stated activity or thing. s 49 sub 2003 No. 82 s 21 ; 2019 No. 6 s 34 amd 2024 No. 17 s 158 (uncommenced amendment) (sec.49-ssec.1) The chief executive may issue the following authorities under this Act— a licence; a permit; a quota authority; a resource allocation authority; another authority prescribed by regulation.
