### sec.49 Authorities that may be issued
The chief executive may issue the following authorities under this Act—
a licence;
a permit;
a quota authority;
a resource allocation authority;
another authority prescribed by regulation.
A regulation may provide that an authority of a particular kind may or may not be issued for a stated activity or thing.

(sec.49-ssec.1) The chief executive may issue the following authorities under this Act— a licence; a permit; a quota authority; a resource allocation authority; another authority prescribed by regulation.
(sec.49-ssec.2) A regulation may provide that an authority of a particular kind may or may not be issued for a stated activity or thing.
- (a) a licence;
- (b) a permit;
- (c) a quota authority;
- (d) a resource allocation authority;
- (e) another authority prescribed by regulation.
