### sec.185 Power to enter into agreements
The Minister may enter into an agreement with a Minister administering a law of another State about fishing, fisheries resources or fish habitat, for the purpose of cooperation in achieving the purposes of this Act or the purposes (however called) of the law of the other State.
The agreement may provide for—
the exercise of powers under this Act in the other State; and
the exercise in Queensland of powers under the law of the other State; and
the exchange of information between the Minister and the Minister of the other State about—
any action taken under this Act or the law of the other State in relation to fishing, fisheries resources or fish habitat; and
any information in relation to fishing, fisheries resources or fish habitat obtained under this Act or the law of the other State, other than confidential information.
In this section—
confidential information means information the confidentiality of which must be maintained under an Act, or a law of the Commonwealth or another State.

(sec.185-ssec.1) The Minister may enter into an agreement with a Minister administering a law of another State about fishing, fisheries resources or fish habitat, for the purpose of cooperation in achieving the purposes of this Act or the purposes (however called) of the law of the other State.
(sec.185-ssec.2) The agreement may provide for— the exercise of powers under this Act in the other State; and the exercise in Queensland of powers under the law of the other State; and the exchange of information between the Minister and the Minister of the other State about— any action taken under this Act or the law of the other State in relation to fishing, fisheries resources or fish habitat; and any information in relation to fishing, fisheries resources or fish habitat obtained under this Act or the law of the other State, other than confidential information.
(sec.185-ssec.3) In this section— confidential information means information the confidentiality of which must be maintained under an Act, or a law of the Commonwealth or another State.
- (a) the exercise of powers under this Act in the other State; and
