### sec.142 Inspector’s conditions of appointment
An inspector holds office on the conditions specified in the instrument of appointment.
An inspector—
if the appointment provides for a term of appointment—ceases holding office at the end of the term; and
may resign by signed notice of resignation given to the chief executive; and
if the conditions of appointment provide—ceases holding office as an inspector on ceasing to hold another office stated in the conditions of appointment.
(sec.142-ssec.1) An inspector holds office on the conditions specified in the instrument of appointment.
(sec.142-ssec.2) An inspector— if the appointment provides for a term of appointment—ceases holding office at the end of the term; and may resign by signed notice of resignation given to the chief executive; and if the conditions of appointment provide—ceases holding office as an inspector on ceasing to hold another office stated in the conditions of appointment.
