### sec.140A Functions of inspectors
An inspector has the function of conducting investigations and inspections—
to monitor and enforce compliance with—
this Act; and
the Biosecurity Act 2014 , so far as it relates to fisheries resources or fish habitats; and
the Planning Act , so far as it relates to fisheries development; and
to facilitate the administration of this Act, including, for example, by helping the chief executive perform the chief executive’s functions under this Act.

- (a) to monitor and enforce compliance with— (i) this Act; and (ii) the Biosecurity Act 2014 , so far as it relates to fisheries resources or fish habitats; and (iii) the Planning Act , so far as it relates to fisheries development; and

- (iii) the Planning Act , so far as it relates to fisheries development; and
