### sec.13 Exemptions from Act
A regulation may exempt a person from this Act or a provision of this Act.
A regulation may exempt a person who keeps live fish, for sale, in a pet shop or restaurant from all provisions of the Act .
A regulation may exempt a person from all provisions of the Act for the use or possession of specified fishing apparatus.
The exemption may be given on conditions stated in the regulation.
A person must not contravene a condition of an exemption that applies to the person.
Maximum penalty for subsection (3) —200 penalty units.
(sec.13-ssec.1) A regulation may exempt a person from this Act or a provision of this Act. A regulation may exempt a person who keeps live fish, for sale, in a pet shop or restaurant from all provisions of the Act . A regulation may exempt a person from all provisions of the Act for the use or possession of specified fishing apparatus.
(sec.13-ssec.2) The exemption may be given on conditions stated in the regulation.
