### sec.33 Varying the amounts of department’s headings
Subsection (2) applies if the Treasurer considers there is—
a surplus in 1 or more of the headings of a department for a financial year; and
a deficiency in 1 or more other headings of the department.
The Treasurer may allocate an amount to the heading or headings that are deficient from the heading or headings in surplus.
As soon as practicable after the Treasurer allocates the amount, the Treasurer must give notice to the accountable officer of the department about the surplus, deficiency and allocation of the amount.
Subsection (2) does not authorise the Treasurer to pay more than the department’s vote for the financial year.

(sec.33-ssec.4) Subsection (2) does not authorise the Treasurer to pay more than the department’s vote for the financial year.

- (b) a deficiency in 1 or more other headings of the department.
