### sec.32 Supply before parliamentary annual appropriation Act for financial year
This section applies if, before the enactment of the parliamentary annual appropriation Act for a financial year, the Legislative Assembly—
authorises the payment of an amount (the parliamentary supply amount ) from the consolidated fund for the Legislative Assembly and parliamentary service; but
does not appropriate the amount for the Legislative Assembly or parliamentary service for the financial year.
The Treasurer must prepare a statement setting out the amount available for the Legislative Assembly and parliamentary service from the parliamentary supply amount.
As soon as practicable after preparing the statement, the Treasurer must give notice to the Clerk of the Parliament about the amount available for the Legislative Assembly and parliamentary service from the parliamentary supply amount before the enactment of the parliamentary annual appropriation Act.
The Treasurer may pay an amount to the Legislative Assembly and parliamentary service under the statement.
A payment under the statement is taken to be authorised by the parliamentary annual appropriation Act for the financial year.
(sec.32-ssec.1) This section applies if, before the enactment of the parliamentary annual appropriation Act for a financial year, the Legislative Assembly— authorises the payment of an amount (the parliamentary supply amount ) from the consolidated fund for the Legislative Assembly and parliamentary service; but does not appropriate the amount for the Legislative Assembly or parliamentary service for the financial year.

- (a) authorises the payment of an amount (the parliamentary supply amount ) from the consolidated fund for the Legislative Assembly and parliamentary service; but
- (b) does not appropriate the amount for the Legislative Assembly or parliamentary service for the financial year.
