### sec.103CC Expert evidence of domestic violence
Expert evidence about domestic violence is admissible in a criminal proceeding.
Evidence given by an expert may include—
evidence about the nature and effects of domestic violence on persons generally; and
evidence about the effect of domestic violence on a particular person who has been subjected to domestic violence.
For this section, an expert on the subject of domestic violence includes a person who can demonstrate specialised knowledge, gained by training, study or experience, of a matter that may constitute evidence of domestic violence.

(sec.103CC-ssec.1) Expert evidence about domestic violence is admissible in a criminal proceeding.
(sec.103CC-ssec.2) Evidence given by an expert may include— evidence about the nature and effects of domestic violence on persons generally; and evidence about the effect of domestic violence on a particular person who has been subjected to domestic violence.
(sec.103CC-ssec.3) For this section, an expert on the subject of domestic violence includes a person who can demonstrate specialised knowledge, gained by training, study or experience, of a matter that may constitute evidence of domestic violence.
