### sec.597 Consequences of failure to comply with reminder notice
A person to whom a reminder notice has been given must comply with the notice unless the person has a reasonable excuse.
Maximum penalty—100 penalty units.
The failure to comply with the reminder notice is, for applying chapter 5, part 12 to the transitional authority, taken to be an event mentioned in section 293(2).
