### sec.596 Notice by administering authority to amend , surrender or transfer transitional authority
This section applies if the holder of a transitional authority does not make an application required under section 595.
The administering authority may, by written notice (a reminder notice ), require the holder to make the application within a fixed period of at least 10 business days.
The reminder notice must state the following—
the application the holder is required to make under section 595;
the period fixed for making the application;
reasons for the decisions to make the requirement and to fix the period;
the review or appeal details for the decisions.

(sec.596-ssec.1) This section applies if the holder of a transitional authority does not make an application required under section 595.
