### sec.517 Delegation by administering executive or local government chief executive officer
The chief executive’s powers under this Act as the administering executive may be delegated or subdelegated in the same way as the chief executive’s powers may be delegated or subdelegated under section 516 .
A local government’s chief executive officer may delegate the officer’s powers under this Act, as the administering executive or otherwise, to an appropriately qualified employee of the local government.
A delegation under subsection (2) of a power of a local government’s chief executive officer to an employee of a local government may permit the subdelegation of the power to another appropriately qualified employee of the local government.

(sec.517-ssec.1) The chief executive’s powers under this Act as the administering executive may be delegated or subdelegated in the same way as the chief executive’s powers may be delegated or subdelegated under section 516 .
(sec.517-ssec.2) A local government’s chief executive officer may delegate the officer’s powers under this Act, as the administering executive or otherwise, to an appropriately qualified employee of the local government.
(sec.517-ssec.3) A delegation under subsection (2) of a power of a local government’s chief executive officer to an employee of a local government may permit the subdelegation of the power to another appropriately qualified employee of the local government.
