### sec.444A Appointment
The Governor in Council may, on the recommendation of the Minister, appoint a rehabilitation commissioner.
The Minister may recommend a person for appointment only if the Minister is satisfied the person is appropriately qualified to perform the functions of the rehabilitation commissioner.
The rehabilitation commissioner is appointed under this Act and not the Public Sector Act 2022 .
The rehabilitation commissioner may be appointed on a full-time or part-time basis.
