### sec.318X Requirement to keep work diary
A registered suitable operator must keep a work diary in the approved form for a mobile and temporary environmentally relevant activity carried out by the operator.
Maximum penalty—100 penalty units.
The approved form must provide for the inclusion of the following—
details of each location at which the mobile and temporary environmentally relevant activity is carried out by the registered suitable operator;
the days on which the activity is carried out by the operator.
The registered suitable operator must record the information required under the approved form within 1 day after the day the operator vacates each location at which the mobile and temporary environmentally relevant activity is carried out, unless the operator has a reasonable excuse.

The registered suitable operator must keep the work diary for 2 years after the day on which the operator vacates the last location at which the mobile and temporary environmentally relevant activity is carried out, unless the operator has a reasonable excuse.
