### sec.318I Steps after deciding application for registration
If the chief executive decides to approve the application, the chief executive must, within 5 business days after deciding the application—
give the applicant written notice stating that the application is approved; and
include the applicant’s name and address in the register of suitable operators.
If the chief executive decides to refuse the application, the chief executive must give the applicant an information notice about the decision within 5 business days after deciding the application.
Subsection (4) applies if—
the application was made together with an application for an environmental authority under chapter 5 ; and
the administering authority for the application is not the chief executive.
The chief executive must also give the administering authority notice of the decision.

(sec.318I-ssec.1) If the chief executive decides to approve the application, the chief executive must, within 5 business days after deciding the application— give the applicant written notice stating that the application is approved; and include the applicant’s name and address in the register of suitable operators.
