### sec.185 Referral to Land Court
The administering authority must refer the application to the Land Court for a decision under this subdivision (the objections decision ), unless the application is referred to the Land Court under the Mineral Resources Act , section 265 .
The referral must be made within 10 business days after (but not before) the last day on which an objection notice for the application may be given to the administering authority under subdivision 2 .
The referral must be made by filing with the registrar of the Land Court—
a notice, in the approved form, referring the application to the Land Court; and
a copy of the application; and
a copy of any response to an information request; and
a copy of any submission for the application; and
a copy of the notice given under section 181 (1) , including any draft environmental authority for the application; and
a copy of any objection notice given under section 182 (2) ; and
a copy of any request for referral made by the applicant under section 183 .
The referral starts a proceeding before the Land Court for it to make the objections decision.
