### sec.239 Accident reported to electricity entity before commencement
This section applies if, immediately before the commencement—
under section 171 of the Electricity Act as in force immediately before the commencement, an electricity entity had received a report of an accident; and
all action required under section 171 had not been completed.
The electricity entity must advise the chief executive of the report, and of the extent to which action has been taken under section 171.
To the extent the chief executive considers appropriate, the accident may be investigated under this Act as if it had happened after the commencement.
(sec.239-ssec.1) This section applies if, immediately before the commencement— under section 171 of the Electricity Act as in force immediately before the commencement, an electricity entity had received a report of an accident; and all action required under section 171 had not been completed.
(sec.239-ssec.2) The electricity entity must advise the chief executive of the report, and of the extent to which action has been taken under section 171.
(sec.239-ssec.3) To the extent the chief executive considers appropriate, the accident may be investigated under this Act as if it had happened after the commencement.
- (a) under section 171 of the Electricity Act as in force immediately before the commencement, an electricity entity had received a report of an accident; and
- (b) all action required under section 171 had not been completed.
