### sec.129 Appointment and qualifications The regulator may appoint a person, whether or not an officer of the department, as an accredited auditor. However, the regulator may appoint a person as an accredited auditor only if— the person makes application for appointment in the way prescribed under a regulation; and either— the regulator is satisfied the person is qualified for appointment because the person has the necessary expertise or experience; or the person has satisfactorily finished training approved by the regulator. s 129 amd 2011 No. 18 s 404 sch 4 pt 1 (sec.129-ssec.1) The regulator may appoint a person, whether or not an officer of the department, as an accredited auditor.
