### sec.652 Application of new rate of insurance duty under s 362 The new rate of insurance duty applies to a premium paid for general insurance on or after the commencement of this section only if the contract that effects the general insurance is entered into on or after the commencement of this section. In this section— new rate , of insurance duty, means the rate of insurance duty imposed on the premium under section 362(1), as amended by the Revenue Amendment and Trade and Investment Queensland Act 2013 , section 17. s 652 ins 2013 No. 28 s 19 (sec.652-ssec.1) The new rate of insurance duty applies to a premium paid for general insurance on or after the commencement of this section only if the contract that effects the general insurance is entered into on or after the commencement of this section.
