### sec.106 False or misleading statements
A person must not state anything to an inspector that the person knows is false or misleading in a material particular.
Maximum penalty—50 penalty units.
Subsection (1) applies even if the statement was not made in response to, or in purported compliance with, an information requirement or another specific requirement under a specific power.
